In racing, everyone is looking to hit that optimal line, the fastest, safest, most efficient path around the track. But when that line is blocked, you have two choices. Wait for it to "open", or create your own.
That is individuality. That is character. The willingness to step out, take the risk, and figure it out your own way.
Right now, the world feels quiet. Everyone is following the same lines on the track, online, and in life. It is all filtered, safe, and predictable. We have forgotten that people do not connect with perfect. They connect with personality.
Look at Brian Deegan. He did not follow the playbook, he was the playbook. From freestyle motocross to off road, he built his legacy by being loud, raw, and unapologetically himself. He did not ask for permission. He just went for it.
That is what we need more of. People who move different. Everyone is too scared to be real. Too scared to stand out. But when everyone plays it safe, we lose what makes us human. Energy. Passion. Truth.
At twenty, I was laying sewer pipe in Wisconsin, covered in dirt, dreaming about something bigger. I wanted to act, model, and create, so I packed up and moved to New York City. I did not have a plan, just drive. That risk changed everything.
